Birthday Week!

We can't believe that it was 5 years ago that we were bringing our first child home from the hospital...scared and excited! Elijah has grown into an independent, strong-willed, smart leader. He sets his mind to a task and will see it to completion. He makes friends easily, young and old. Lessons are hard to learn, but he's better for them. He is searching for truth and wants to know more about the God that his parents love. He knows lots of worship songs and sings them at the top of his lungs. He loves Narnia, Legos, playing his guitar, and playing ball with dad and his friends. He's quite the athelete. Of course, I brought him into this world...I think he's the best!

We celebrated in many ways over the past week: at St. George's Donuts, at McDonald's, with family from Georgia, with friends at the park.

He's also the proud new owner of his first bike.
