Elijah's Dream Come True

Wearing the Buster Posey Giants jersey given to him by GJ, Elijah got all decked out to meet Aubrey Huff and Pablo Sandoval.

And though this was Ben's gift to Elijah, he was doing orientation with a mission team. Therefore, I got the cool points!

We waited in line for about 45 minutes and then stepped up to meet these guys and get a bat and a ball autographed.

Elijah let Huff and Pablo know he turned 7 that day and they wished him Happy Birthday.

I told Elijah this was a chance in a lifetime to meet great baseball players and to get their autograph. Now, if it were me, I would be putting those items on ebay and making some money, but not my boys. Nope. These are what us girls call heirlooms! Their grandkids will see this bat and ball one day.
