ella.

at age 5, she started writing k a book.

her and her momma are creative that way.

her momma was not sure what prompted it.

ella said she wanted to say this in the book to k, "i hope you have a great flight."

next, ella drew a picture of k, asher, sam, jad {ella's brother} and herself on the playground.

ella told her mom that the dress k had on at the playground was beautiful and was not one of the three that she wore at the orphanage.

 this red dress was new!

{ella had heard me say that the girls at k's orphanage take turns with their clothes.}

eva.

she's a brave 5 year old.

she can't wait to have another girl cousin.

every day when eva prays she says, "God, please give k a good and nice judge."

her mom lets us know often that eva is praying for k and for court.

and she learns it from her momma who tells us they won't stop praying for God to move mightily.

abby.

she's the same age as k.

she was talking to a little girl at school who was telling her that people who are different colors can't be related.

abby replied, "you just wait until my cousin from india comes to visit me. we are not the same color, but she's my family!"

i've gotten texts over the past 2 years from her mom that they are praying specifically for k.

k.

all these girls are connected by childlike faith.

three young girls from three different towns with a place in their heart to love and care and pray for k.

a girl they've never met. a girl who is already family to them.

as i wait with these girls to see how God is going to answer their prayers and breath life into their dreams,

i believe God has heard their pleas and has kept k from harm and has revealed Himself to her in her dreams.

all because a young girl prayed.

 i know these aren't the only young ones believing God for a miracle to bring k home.

i've got 3 right here where a day hasn't gone by for 3 years where they haven't prayed for their sister.

i've heard, quite literally, from hundreds of young boys and girls across the country who have written us with pictures of stick figures and world maps, believing God for this miracle for k.

the army of believers is vast, young and old.

it's time to believe again, ella, eva, and abby {and the rest of you}.

you three girls have already touched her life in big ways and God has more for you as your faith in Him grows.

we're just a few days away from our next court hearing.

march 26 {happening during the night on wednesday}

the date remains consistent on the court website.

the judge will take her place {H.I.B.}

the lawyer will enter the courtroom {Mr. P}

and if you would stand with us through the night wednesday night as we ask God to have mercy and release this child.

To you, O Lord, I cry, and to the Lord I plead for mercy: “What profit is there in my death, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it tell of your faithfulness? Hear, O Lord, and be merciful to me! O Lord, be my helper!” You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, that my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
