No Pictures...Just Memories
I know. I almost don't know what to do with a new post and no pictures. This just isn't me. It's like leaving the house without your watch or cell phone. Something is just missing. But having no pictures to post is certainly not a sign that we aren't making memories. The last week of July brought the closing of our new home, moving into our new home, attending a wedding in Memphis, and hosting 3 of our favorite students from Tuscaloosa, Alabama for 10 days or so.
I am so blessed! While Hannah and Ashley have been here, Ben and I attended a conference in Branson and left the kids in their care. They have done laundry, baked, cooked, cleaned, toted kids around, taken them swimming, gone grocery shopping, carried stuff to the attic, watched neighborhood kids, dressed kids, bathed kids, watched Disney (which I know is their favorite channel), read books, played board games, rocked Asher to sleep, changed diapers, taken Sam potty, and the list is just beginning.
I know what you're thinking. They don't have a side business. They are not for sale and truly are humans! It sounds like I am describing an angel! They are full-time college students with a heart of joy and service. They have always held a special place in our hearts, but that spot just went a little deeper. They will make incredible wives and moms one day. I have just purchased a front row seat ticket to see how their futures unfold. God created something very special when He created them.
We are just a few weeks from the boys starting preschool and our church beginning a new service. Ben is personally writing every family attending the new service and is preparing with our staff the logistics and flow of the service. We can't wait to see what God is going to do. We pray that we remain faithful to Him and in reaching out to others.
Stay tuned. I promise to have some pictures up at the close of the week.
