Sam has been working through the book Teach Your Child To Read in 100 Easy Lesssons by Siegfried Engelmann. We are at lesson 50 and this is what he can do all on his own! I love the expressions he gives me when he realizes he is reading on his own. This book is a simple tool that has been successful in helping our boys. Sam reads aloud street signs and billboards as we drive. He is checking out easy read books at the library. Reading contributes so much to knowledge.
