The San Francisco Friendship Cookie

The Recipe that goes a long long way
Let's call it: The San Francisco Friendship Cookie

2 cup butter
2 cup brown sugar
2 cup white sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cup flour
5 cup blended oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
24 oz. chocolate chips
1 80z. Hershey bar
3 cup chopped pecans

Blend oatmeal: Measure and blend in a blender to fine powder.
Cream butter and both sugars.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
Add chips, nuts, and grated Hershey bar.
Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 for 6 minutes.
Yields: at least 100 cookies!

Note: recipe can be halved, but I advise against it!
