Day 28: Celebrations
It seems like the 4th of July snuck up on us! I can't believe it's July.
We enjoyed the day with our Epic team that morning and made big plans to see fireworks that evening down on the Embarcadero near the Ferry Building and Fisherman's Wharf.
We met up with the Keels and enjoyed Subway sandwiches in the park.
Then off to the Milners where we met up for dessert.

the west to try and see the fireworks.
So what did we do?
We did the same. Down the steps and out the door.
Firecracker sounds every few seconds, but never a sighting.
Thousands upon thousands of people filled the streets.
All looking up and around.
One firework spotted.
Make that two.
The End.
Lesson learned:
"You can't trust a foggy city to produce a great firework display on the 4th of July."
