Something has already happened

Right where you sit or stand.

A conversation perhaps.

One that went well or one that went bad.

Maybe someone spilled milk

Or sold goods back in the day.

What is true is right where you stand

Has been around much longer than today.

The secret is the secret

Golden is the time

Your Spirit in me

Increasing in me

Visible in me

Conviction comes quick

My soul feels the prick

What a gift this is.

Exactly where it was

All that took place

Was it that ruin

Or that ruin

It’s difficult to say

But because it’s difficult to say

Doesn’t mean it’s not

Impossible to believe

It was really happening!

A dream we planned and saved for years.

The trip had just started

And we were having the time of our lives.

It was that moment

Just moments in

Washing my face

I was counting the sleeps

Until we set sail.

And why?

To get to something better?

To slow down time?

Why can’t i see the gold in this day?

this is good.

you are healing

and dealing

with the very center of you.

a place hard to get to

and challenging to stay at.

it’s not necessarily for fun

it’s to mark a moment

you’ve been so brave

when you didn’t know how to be

i want to acknowledge God’s faithfulness

and presence in your life.

i thank our Father for His incredible love

He pours out on you.
