...of a lifetime of sports! Elijah had his first ever t-ball practice today. His coach? His proud dad! I'm not sure who was most excited. I certainly know who was most proud of his son! It was an hour packed full of great moments and funny moments at that!
Elijah did GREAT! And we're not just saying that. He definitely has a natural athletic ability...and he loves the game. Ben did a terrific job coaching eleven 3 and 4 year olds! They hit, ran the bases, caught some ground balls, and sometimes ran off to the playground or gathered some rocks on the ground. He has great patience with them. The parents seemed to appreciate his willingness to do this job, for sure. Mimi got to see his first practice as she played with Asher. Sam enjoyed the playground and giving Elijah his blue drink after the game. I took pictures and met the parents. I guess that's the role of a coach's wife!?!? I'd better get used to it...for it's just the beginning.
