miracles

it's my favorite place in the house and my favorite part of the day.

those moments before the kids rise.

moments before sun shines over the oakland hills and hits the bay.

coffee in hand.

i'm rocking and i peer over and his heart and mind are drinking in Scripture and he looks at me.

"this has been a year of miracles."

my pastor husband begins to name them.

God is the only One who can perform miracles.

miracles are works of God. wonders that surpass what our human minds can fathom.

let us acknowledge the greatest miracle - the resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ.

bringing to life what was dead.

conquering our sins once and forever.

His resurrection breathes life into us.

then let us claim the same resurrection power in our own lives as we pay attention to the miracles He is doing around us.

"If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you." Romans 8.11

name the miracles.

recall them to your family around the table today.

speak them aloud on your way to work.

tell stories at bedtime that point your little one's heart to the Hero.

notice them in a friend's life and call it what it is.

celebrating the greatest miracle brings significance to the miracles we
experience every day because of Him.
jot down a miracle here or on social media or on a notepad at home.
